Digital vs. Advanced Signature: Which one protects you in lawsuits?

In the market, there are multiple tools for "signing" documents, but in Mexican labor matters, legal validity is non-negotiable. There is a critical difference between generic signing software and a specialized compliance platform like Sora.

The risk of simple electronic signature Many generic softwares are based on foreign legislation and only associate identity through an email or an IP address. In a lawsuit, a worker can deny having signed, and the company will have to face a complex process to try to prove otherwise. Drawing a line with a mouse or finger is a representative act, but not cryptographic.

Sora: Advanced Electronic Signature with Biometrics Sora has designed its technology to strictly comply with the Federal Labor Law and the criteria of the Supreme Court:

1. Biometric Validation: Before signing, Sora validates the collaborator's identity against RENAPO and INE with proof-of-life tests.

2. High-Level Cryptography: Each signature uses unique keys (ed25519) and a secret PIN that only the user knows, following the "zero-knowledge" principle.

3. Presumption of Attribution: This technology legally links the person to their digital identity, making the signature mathematically verifiable by an expert.

A court evidence package ready to win While others deliver only a technical log, Sora generates a comprehensive evidentiary package designed as a legal argument in itself. In 2026, the difference between winning or losing a labor dispute depends on having chosen the technology that not only digitalizes, but also legally shields each transaction.
